Fiberglass mesh for plastering is an ideal reinforcing material for plaster work in both interior and exterior walls. It plays the role of “soft steel” in the plastering layer. It’s corrosion-resistant, light-weight and compatible with mortar, so it can prevent the plaster layer from cracking and enhance the strength of plaster layer for many years. Moreover, it has very good stability and doesn’t deform even in heavy humid place or where the temperature changes sharply. By applying fiberglass mesh for plastering, the durability of plaster layer can be increased greatly, and the problem of possible cracks in the future will be eliminated.

How to spot good and poor quality mesh?
There are 2 materials that determine the quality – the glass fiber and the glue.
We use platinum crucibles to produce glass fiber and acrylic latex glue to do the coating. The following picture demonstrates the quality differences:
